We are taking
orders for calves and goats for 2010. If you are interested in a registered Irish Dexter calf or two, let us know and
we will add you to our list. We do not breed for color but rather for body style and personality.
Currently, we have two bulls we are using as sires, Whistle R Ace
and Valinor of JP Farms. Ace is a long-loined red-dun bull with an exceptional good nature, Valinor is a black bull
with Green Valley/O'Briar Hill lineage. He is a sweetie and as an upcoming 2 yr old, is getting over his "gawky
teenage body" and filling our nicely.
Also, both bulls were tested and both are PHA-free as well as chondro-free. I prefer my
cows to be shorter and chunkier and that means that they tend to be chondro-carriers. We do have two cows left who are
non-carriers, so if you are desiring a guaranteed non-chondro calf, we will have some.
In addition,
as we are using two bulls, we will be able to offer unrelated "girls and boys" for your one-stop shopping convenience!
Due to the incredible demand last Fall for breeding age bucks, we
will keep the best-growing bucklings "intact" to be held as future breeders.

and please note that any required testing, registration, transfer fees and travel health
papers are taken care of by us:
Weaned heifers under 8 mos- $950
Open Heifers 8-24 mos old-$1,200
Weaned
bull calves- $750
Weaned steers under 12 mos-$350
Steers 12-17 mos- $500
Steers 18-24 mos-$750
From time to time we may also have a bred cow or bred heifer for sale.
